Sensodyne Pronamel For Children By Cupie on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I've always had a problem with acid wear. It had always worried me and I thought the appearance of my teeth was declining. I was never going to give up soda and fruit juice, but then I found this product!

First and foremost, acid wear is the wearing off of tooth enamel after direct contact with fruit or drink acid (from juice or carbonation). Drinking with a straw directly avoiding the teeth will help prevent this.

This product has been developed with dentists and I have been using it for 2 or 3 years, so this is a good product! The flavor is Gentle Mint and it has a sweet twist to the usual mint flavor. My only objection is that Gentle Mint is its only flavor; it can get boring after a while. Children under age two need permission from a doctor to use this. Children six and under need supervision while using this toothpaste to prevent swallowing.

It has lots of fluoride. I haven't had a single cavity with this toothpaste and it removes plaque buildup! I found this to be particularly favorable if your kids like soda or candy a lot. It doesn't remove deep-set stains.

It's very effective! I am always left with clean, fresh breath that lasts all night! And my teeth look whiter within a week of use.

The packaging is alright, but it's a little on the plain side. It simply has a white background and a blue border with a tooth to the right.
