Sergeant's Natures Guardian flea and tick powder for Dog's and puppies kills and repels fleas and ticks.Yet it is completely safe for use around other pets and even children and puppies. It is even safe for use in multiple other type of pets in the same home. It is in a powder form which covers a much larger area than most other types of powders. Due to it's all natural active ingredients such as peppermint oil,cinnamon oil,lemon grass oil,thyme oil and eugenol it is non-toxic. A definite plus in our household as we are really trying to go as green as possible to help out the environment and the effect on our general health as well. It has a very pleasing smell,the powder once applied and ruffled into the fur is very long lasting and greatly effective. It seems to be mostly water proof as the only way we have been able to remove it is either thru time or a really good shampoo.We are very pleased with this product as we hope you will be.
