Serious Skin Care By Alice on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I'm a shop at home junkie and recently purchased a skin care kit from HSN. It was the value of the day, on 5 easy payments, and the free wicker suitcase pulled me in. The products in this kit sounded wonderful for the upcoming winter months when dry skin can drive me crazy. The kit included an emulsifying cleanser, 2 types of replenishing oils, skin primer, a facial peel, beauty therapy, a super eye creamerum, and of course the wicker suitcase. This product was olive oil based and at first the thought of putting olive oil on myself didn't sound too good but thought I would give it a try (I could return the product for a full refund). I have to say that some of the items have a very strong olive oil smell to them and could very possibly turn off some buyers. I found that after my first regimen (there's an am and a pm) that my skin felt super soft. It does take a few minutes for the oil to penetrate into the skin but I didn't find it to be as much of a problem as anticipated. My face feels so much softer and I feel like it's much smoother and I don't notice the little wrinkles like I did before. The skin on my legs, which is the dryest, also is getting so much better. I would recommend this to anyone living in cold winter climates. Don't be put off by the olive oil smell, it doesn't last long.
Jennifer Flavin-Stallone 8 Pc. Fall Feast Kit for Dry Skin Deluxe Purchased at: HSN Price: $59.90

Sounds great but the olive oil smell would definately get to me.
Never shopped at HSN. Sounds like you picked up a great product there.
sounds like a good product for you. Can't imagine putting olive oil on my skin though! LOL
I try to stay off of HSN because I am afraid I will become addicted. Sounds like a great product and for a very cheap price.
I must say that I have never shopped with HSN! Can you believe that? I have a coupon for 15% that I might just have to mail you to use next shopping day. I think this sounds great and I know that olive oil is really good for you. I had no idea that you actually would use something like that on your face. I would be willing to give it a try, especially in the wintertime here in Ohio! Great information and I will mail you that coupon !
This sounds like a good way to pamper yourself and the basket is good looking
I can never find anything on HSN! But this sounds like a great find:0) I have to admit though it wound never work for me because I am much to lazy to use all those products!
My garandmother and my mother both used olive oil based products on their faces and hair. Both women were noted for their lovely complexions and radiant hair. They would use a very hot washcloth after applying the oils, then let it steam in.
useful info. i have problem wth dry skin. will try de product. thks
My first question was, how long would you smell like olive oil? I was glad to see you answered that. Otherwise, that would be a total turnoff for me.
