Sesame Street Finger Paint Bubble Bath
By dsnygrl onI was doing some cleaning today and in the back of the bathroom cabinet I found the bottles of Sesame Street finger paint bubble baths that I had hidden under there. Before I finally tossed them out, I thought I would write a review about them to warn other parents to save their money on these.
When my son was little, he loved to take baths. I saw the 3 pack of finger paint bubble bath and thought they would be great fun for him in the tub, WRONG! They turned out to be a pain in the butt and a waste of money. They come as a set of 3, 4 oz. bottles. You get a red, a yellow and a green. They feature pictures of Elmo, Big Bird, and Oscar the Grouch on the labels. They have tops that open like a glue bottle and are supposed to squeeze out so you can paint with them. That never did work for us. They are a fairly hard plastic bottle and my son was never able to squeeze hard enough to get anything out. I could not squeeze them hard enough half of the time and ended up having to take the top off to get it to come out. Once you do get them out, the colors are not very bright and are hard to see to have any fun with. He played with them for about two minutes and then was done. The good part about them is they did not stain and were not hard to wash off when you were done. All in all they ended up making him more sad than happy so I would say thumbs down to these and save your money.

Too bad, because it looked like a great idea. I like how the characters' colors were the same as the paint inside (was supposed to be!)

Bummer, I hate it when its too hard for kids to use an item!
It'e great when a company will come onto Shared Reviews and comment to help assist. That's great customer service.
I remember these, they never did work right. It was sad too because they could have been so cool.
