Shades of Green Resort is a DOD facility located in Orlando,FL. Shades of Green (SOG) is located on the Disney World Resort and is within walking distance of the monorail system. The resort, open to all DOD members and their families, boasts two swimming pools, two award winning golf courses, and five different dinning facilities. Guests of the resort can purchase discount tickets to all Orlando attractions. A standard room sleeps six and comes with two queen beds, a sofa sleeper, and a dinner table that seats four. There are also family suites that sleep eight. The rooms are comparable to those to the other surrounding resorts except to be $100-$200 cheaper.

Because of the wonderful value that staying at this hotel offers it is important to book your vacation as far in advance as possible. Shades of Green takes reservations up to 12 months in advance.
