Shania Twain An Intimate Portrait By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Shania Twain - An Intimate Portrait of a Country Music Diva is a biography written by Michael McCall. In this book, we get a glimpse of the lady behind the beautiful voice. We learn about Shania's difficulties growing up, how she lost her parents as a young woman of twenty-one and had to take care of her family. We learn the challenges Shania had to face in order to get her start as a country-music performer and make her way to stardom. Shania worked hard for her success, and this book shows that to us firsthand.

I found this book to be very enlightening and, after reading it, received a much better idea of the real Shania, the courageous woman behind the talented performer.

This book is a total of 164 pages, and it held my interest right up to the very last page. If you are a fan of Shania's, I think you would most likely enjoy this biography as much as I did. It is an easy, enjoyable book to read, not too long but long enough to give you the answers to many questions you may have had concerning Shania and her life.
