Sharp Edge

OK ok ok, I'll admit it. I really don't cook. I don't know how to cook and I don't like to cook... But I do like to eat fresh fruit. My boyfriend is the chef in the household and wanted these german Wusthof knives for Christmas. So I found a great 3 piece set deal on cutleryandmore.com My boyfriend kept going on and on about how great the knives were when he got to use them so finally one night while he was sleeping I snuck one out and tried it out. We were planning on going on our boat the next day and I really wanted some fresh fruit. So at the grocery store that night, we picked up some pineapple, watermellon and cantaloup. The three fruits that are some of the juiciest but have the hardest rinds to get into. So I whipped out the Wusthof Culinar knife and HOLY MOLY! Thank goodness my fingers weren't in the way. I have never cut up a pineapple with ease before. They are very tricky to get into but I had no problems at all. My knife sliced through like butter. It was great!

These knives are a great product. They are slightly heavy in weight, which I like. It makes me feel like I have more control of it. They stay sharp for a long time, and the handle is perfectly fitted for all hand sizes. It cuts through anything and looks great. Great product for the money.
