Sharpie Marker Pens By Tink on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I use these fine point Sharpie markers every day at work and at home. We own a restaurant in Ohio and we have very strict rules that we have to follow according to the health inspectors. We must date mark every food item that we have in the restaurant. This means that every time we open a package, make salsa or cook fresh foods, it must be marked with the product name and the date. We then have 7 days to use this product before it has to be discarded.
This type of marker pen is very useful because I can clip it to my apron pocket and have it available when I need to mark something. I carry around a roll of masking tape and when a product needs to be marked, I get out my marker pen and write on the masking tape and put the tape on the product or storage container. Then I am all set.
You can also mark on the storage container if you prefer. It is a permanent marker so make sure you really want to do that forever. It would be a great pen to mark lunch boxes and bookbags that your children take to school too.
I prefer to use the black, blue and red markers at work. These are the easiest to read on the labels. The green and the yellow markers that come in the set don't get used at work. Those I take home and use for marking calendars.
If you are looking for a great way to mark your belongings, check these out. They are very inexpensive when you buy them in a 5 pack from Office Max!

Sounds like Sharpie markers are perfect for your job. I think they work pretty well at home too. I love them! Today, we can buy Sharpies in all sorts of colors. They're fun to use in craft projects too!
I use these for shipping out records and CDs. I love the double-ended ones with the fine point on one end and the classic chunky point on the other.
These are the markers we use in our classes. They show up on paperwork that needs to be seen.
I jsut bought some of the pastel ones for some cards that I was mailing out for my sister's baby shower. Love them.
I love Sharpies! I work best with the fine point -otherwise what I write can look a mess.
Love sharpies!
