Shed Some Light..Mighty Bright Xtraflex Led Booklight By cafn8me on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

As a night owl who's married to an early riser, it is important to me that I have a book light so that I can read in bed and not disturb my husband. Recently, I had to replace the book light I had been using for years, so I went to Barnes & Noble to see what they had to offer. I found this inexpensive little gem of a book light for only $10.95, and took advantage of my Barnes & Noble membership discount, which brought the price down to $9.85.

This book light features a sturdy plastic alligator clip to attach securely to whatever size book you're reading. The neck of the book light is a coil wire gooseneck, which means that you can position the light in any direction you'd like. The on/off slide switch is conveniently placed on the head of the light. Since the whole thing is so lightweight, it can even be used on a paperback book or magazine. The light runs on 3 AAA batteries, which were included, and provides a nice wide lighted area...great for reading oversized magazines or hardcover books without needing to keep shifting the light around.

For under $10, this light was a great deal....It's compact, efficient and exactly what I needed. If you're in the market for a book light, I'd definitely recommend this one.
