Sheer Cover Mineral Makeup By Jayjay1113 By jayjay1113 on - Updated Sep 26, 2011
While on maternity leave I used to see the infomercials of Sheer Cover that would some on in the day before my soaps. One of those informercials was with Leeza Gibbons who was a spokesperson for Sheer Cover. While in the As Seen On TV store one day I decided to try it out for myself.
The kit comes with 3 mineral foundations (1.5g each), a finishing powder (1.5g), duo concealer (1.5g), powder brush and sponge. The colour I purchased was for medium to dark skin tones. It is supposed to help conceal dark circles, cover up redness and balance out your skin tone. I was hoping it would only even out my skin tone as I have a yellowish brown undertone and find it hard to get good foundation to match my skin colour.
One of the interesting things about Sheer Cover is you get to mix your colour of foundation. If you need more of a yellow tone, just add it. More of a darker brown tone, just add it too. I think the mixing part is the most difficult aspect of this product. Mix it in the wrong light and you could end up looking like like you have a bad sun burn! I found it difficult to find the right mix so I stopped using it.
While Sheer Cover did not work for me, you might have better luck!
