Shelves That Slide By donnabc on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was so excited when we moved into our new home because it had so much MORE cabinet space than our townhouse. Unfortunately, once I began to organize my kitchen I soon found that quite a bit of my cabinet space was either too high for me to reach (I'm vertically challanged:0) OR too deep to get to the back of and stuff got lost in the depth!

So, I began to research what I could do and after extensive searching located THIS site. They make your drawers to FIT exactly your cabinets! And for a really cheap price. The quality is excellant. The website provides detailed directions on how to measure to get what your need. THere are a variety of types of drawers (high sides, low sides, sloping sides, etc). And, they come with all the stuff to install them and easy to read step by step directions too!

If you are looking to organize your kitchen cabinets, I highly recommend you use www.shelvesthatslide.com! You will NOT be disappointed!

Actually, I don't like pull-out shelves because you lose an awful lot of storage space with them. But that's just me. It's great to know that you can get them made to retrofit existing cabinets if that is what you want.

And PS... when the hardware breaks it's a genuine pain. I had to jury rig, and make a new part when one of ours broke because the company no longer made that style. Imagine... for a 50cent piece of plastic they expected me to buy a whole new unit. The shark was grumpy that day.

Oh I need some of these for sure. I get so tired of having to attempt to get on my hands and knees to find something in the cabinets. I would love sliding shelves. Thanks for sharing.

These are great, we found some at slideoutshelvesllc.com for less money than the other company and they are made the same. We found that we did lose a little room because the shelf has to slide out, but because our cabinets had those half shelves previously we more than expanded our kitchen cabinet storage capacity by being able to install a full depth slide out shelf in that area

That other site makes you add for brackets and even if you want the shelves to be finished. shelvesthatslide.com has everything included and the shipping price was less as well. I was very happy with the quality and the price from Shelves that slide
