I bought this chair to go in the nursery. I chose it because it matched the other furniture and I thought it looked cute and would be a good place to sit and feed the baby or rock him to sleep.
The chair and gliding ottamon only took my husband a little over an hour to put together and it looks fantastic! The color of the wood is a nice deep cherry and the cushions are a neutral cream that looks good with just about any theme.
I gave less than a perfect score for comfort and construction is because no matter what I do the pads on the arms won't stay in place making them a little annoying. Other than that the chair IS very comfortable. The gliding motion is smooth and the chair offers perfect support.

Would be great to be able to see a picture of the chair, but it sounds similar to ones that I know people with babies enjoy.
