Shiatsu Massaging Cushion By Maggie M By MaggieM on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My husband is on his feet all day, which as you probably know can lead to an aching back, so I bought him this chair cushion massager as a gift. Now at the end of a hard day he can relax in a comfy chair and get a nice massage.
The Shiatsu massage cushion has moving ball type things that provide an up and down deep kneading motion, which is great at relieving tight knots. There are three settings to choose from - full, upper or lower back. This cushion even has the option of adding heat. It has an attached remote control so you can make adjustments as needed. The cushion is light weight and can easily be moved from chair to chair or couch, etc.
I will admit I was leary on buying this at first as I wasn't sure just how good of a massage it could provide, but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it myself. The deep kneading really works well and my lower back felt so relaxed after I used it. I'd say it is definitly worth trying, and the price is great if you compare it to a real massage at a spa. I bought this one at Bed, Bath and Beyond and since they send out monthly coupons I managed to save 20%.
So, give yourself a break and try a Shiatsu massage today! You won't even need to leave home or make an appointment to get one!
Homedics Shiatsu Massage Cushion Purchased at: Bed, Bath & Beyond Price: $99.99

My husband had one of these he bought when he first began radiation treatments. He loved it, saying he could feel his muscles unknot and relax after 15 minutes of sitting. These really are very good products.
My grandmother had one of the very first models of these things (a different brand) that ever came out. Oh, how we all loved using it!
This sounds great, I will have to look into this, I have constant back pain, maybe this will help relieve some of my pain. thanks for the info.
This sounds like something I need to own. great reeview I am off to go get one!
Wow this sounds great for the price of a hundred bucks.
Nice product there. how I wish I have one too. I love to be massaged after a hard day work.
This sounds wonderful. I am on my feet all day in heels. Thanks
I really like the Homedics company. The massage cushion that you purchased sounds like it turned out to be a real winner.
I bought a similar one for my mom and she loved it until it conked out. I don't think it helped that my nephews and niece liked to play with it.
May I please have your's?! Gosh does this ever sound relaxing!
