Shining Star

Well, we just got this so that is why I put my experience in the middle. My daughter wanted one for her birthday because her friend at school had one. I ordered it from Amazon. It is a stuffed animal and is similar to a Webkinz in that it has a website that you can play on.

I want to tell you about the best part, in my opinion. You get to pick, and name, a star in the sky. It gives you the location and lets you name it. My daughter got the horse and named it Clementine. She also named the star Clementine and it is located in the Constellation of Andromeda.

There are tons of things to do and the website is not to bad. I had read that it was kind of slow and not all put together but it seems like it's doing alright. They have a Starcade, a Star makeover, a Star pod, and many other things that we have yet to explore. You can earn glowpoints.

One feature on the animal that I wanted to talk about is the Star design on the animals foot, which you can see in the picture. The first time I looked at it I thought that it wouldn't be long before it fell off. I got to feeling around on it to see how it was put on there and there is something inside the foot that is holding it on. So no worries about it falling off.

They have many Shining stars to choose from ranging from Snow owl to Elephants. In my opinion, the best thing about it is the cheap way for your child to get to name a star!
