Shoe insoles

Once again.I was looking for a way to make my shoes last longer and thus save some money.During the past 2 years, I have owned 3 pairs of black flats....all purchased within a couple weeks of each other.Seems that my son's puppy enjoyed my shoes even more than me.Thankfully she is past that phase now:0)

So, anyway, I've had these shoes for a couple years but being frugal am determined to get at least another year out of them!Unfortunately for me, although the outside looked fine, the inside was falling apart.One sole liner had completely fallen out.I slid it back in thoughout the day for several months...annoying and really not that comfortable.Then I took my scrapbooking glue dots and stuck it back in..they they work for everything right?.Wrong; that worked for about 1/2 a day.

Anyway, I finally broke down and came to the conclusion that the shoe had beat me and I would either have to replace it or find an insert for it.I decided to go with the insert and found these inexpensive inserts at Walmart.

SofComfort inserts are rubberly like with a kind of fabric liner on top.The ones I bought are made for size 5 to 10 women's shoes.On the underside, there are lines labeled with shoe sizes.You simply find the one with your size on it and cut to fit.Then slide them into your shoe.

One thing I would change about them are for them to stick to your shoe.But, it really is not a big deal.Thus far, they stay in my shoe fine and are comfortable too.Problem resolved :0)
