My feet are small but wide and very blister prone. I'm also on them a lot. I discovered Minnetonka moccassins three years ago, and I now own five pairs. The fringed kilty comes in wide sizes and several colors, and is made of really soft leather that quickly conforms to your feet. You may even want to go down half a size because they tend to stretch a bit with wear. (I wear my older pairs with heavy socks.) They look cuter than sneakers, and although they don't have a lot of padding, I can wear them all day without pain.

They only have about a half an inch heel, and I sometimes wish they made a model that was slightly higher. My only other crticism is that some of the colors deposit dye on my feet if i wear them without socks. Overall though, I am very happy and will contine to purchase when my current pairs wear out.
