Showboat Hotel By Ally on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My father took us girls to the Showboat hotel in Atlantic City, NJ. He actually had gotten the rooms for free as part of their great rewards plan. The hotel was connected to a casino and also had a skywalk to Ceaser's Palace. Both Showboat and Ceaser's palace are owned by the same company. The view from our hall was great. Just the waves of the Jersey shore.
There suprisingly was not alot of meal options. They had many resteraunts, but they were either open weird hours or not open when they were supposed to be. We did eat at The House Of Blues which was also located in the hotel. (But that's a whole other review:)
The rooms were emaculate. Nice and roomy. The bathrooms were nice as well. I got a chuckle out of the telephone next to the toilet. I was dissapointed to get all ready to go swimming and the pool was closed too. Granted, we did go right after tourist season, but thay should have said that most everything they offered wouldn't be availeable.
Although we had a wonderfull family vacation, we all agreed that it would be our last stay at the Showboat Hotel.
Showboat Hotel

Have never stayed there, but have seen it.
I love the showboat and the best is that its connected to Harrahs another great casino
