Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler By katwalker on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Make up artists have long raved about Shu Uemura's eyelash curler. I always thought, "What's so great about this eyelash curler. An eyelash curler is an eyelash curler, right?" Well, I finally bit the bullet and bought one. I don't know how, but it is better!

The arch of the curler part seems flatter than the drugstore brand curler I previously used. Also, the pad is silicone rather than rubber. This somehow results in lashes that are curler perfectly. Of course, just like any hair, your lashes will lose curl throughout the day unless something is put on it to help it stay curled. But as far as curling the lashes in the first place, this curler is by far the best I've ever used. Definately worth the little extra buckage considering it's a tool that can't be used up!

I use a curler for my lashes. But I have never spent that much money on one! Wow...if you say it does a better job of curling lashes ~ I guess I am going to visit the Sephora store this weekend and get one! Great article :) Do they sell silicone replacement pads there too?
