Reviewing: ? Silicone Basting Brush

I don't know about you, but I have always found the natural bristle basting brushes almost impossible to get completely clean.Well I was happy to finally find a basting brush that cleans up perfectly under hot water! The bristles are made of silicone.

The silicone bristles are about the thickness of uncooked spaghetti and are very flexible for basting. They are firmly attached to the plastic handle, so you don't have to worry about bristles getting into your food like you do with the conventional basting brushes. The silicone is heatproof, so you don't have to worry about it melting either. When your done using it, you can just rinse it under hot water and it's good as new!I have also put this in the dishwasher.

Not only is this good for adding barbecue sauce and basting your turkey, it can be used for spreading on butter, oil, egg wash or icing.

I will never go back to using a regular basting brush after using this silicone one!

Am definitely going to check this out as I just threw out our old one we used all summer for barbequing. They do get nasty looking! Thanks

Nice! I'd be more than willing to toss out those "chip" brushes I picked up at the home improvement center . . . just seems gross, somehow !

Thanks! I hate the natural bristle basting brush that I have, the bristles always get so stiff and then they end up in the barbeque sauce - i will be investing in this.
