Silk Cashmere ugliness

These tops are bestsellers at the Bay every year. So I decided to try one on. Despite their many fans, thee tops are UGLY. They fit like a sack, with no accomodation for curves. They make you look like a 12 year old boy. Which is generally not the look I am going for. They are extremely soft, as they are made of a silk cashmere blend, but due to this fabric, they are not washable. They have to be sent to the drycleaners, and even then, they pill like crazy. So many of them get returned after just a few wears as they look like they have been worn for years.

The colour choices are great, and I could see that if I needed a sweater for a one time use, they would work great. But I try not to buy clothes like that, I like to buy multipurpose things. However, I am glad I tried this on, because now I won't recommend it to as many people as I used to.
