Silky Smooth Sunglasses Case
By rogue34 onMy sunglasses go with me everywhere and I like to be able to keep them in my purse when I am not wearing them. My purse happens to be rather small so keeping my glasses in a hard case is out of the question for me. I searched in the retail stores for a nice soft sided case for my glasses, but could not find one I liked.
Enter www.etsy.com. Etsy is a marketplace for handmade products. I knew that if there was a case that fit my needs and wants, Etsy was the place to find it. I did a search for sunglasses case and the search came back with about 17 pages of different items. I checked through each and every one of them to see what I liked the best. I decided on the one from Murwati.
The case is made to fit smaller sized glasses (what I wear because otherwise I look like a bug). It has a zipper closure that works very well (does not stick). And best of all - it has a real silk lining to protect your glasses! The case that I picked from this shop is brown with an aqua colored dragonfly embroidered on the front. The zipper color matches the dragonfly.
I was not sure what to expect in the way of quality, but this little case is extremely well made. You can tell that there was extra care taken in making this case. No threads hanging out, everything sewn together well, nice color selection and the beautiful embroidered dragonfly. All of those qualities for$12!
This glasses case is a great size for my glasses and it fits great in my purse! There is a little bit of padding in between the outer material and the silk lining that gives my glasses a bit of protection if something bumps up against them. The case would not protect my glasses from being broken, but it does protect them from scratches while in my purse or sitting around the house.

Thanks for the info! I'm going to check it out! my mother in law could use a well made case for her glasses. This sounds very nice and well made!
They have some really nice things on their website-thank you sharing the link with us! I want a cool glasses case!
Lovely case... if you are going to have nice things, it's so nice to have something special to keep them in.
Etsy has some incredible artisans...sounds like a great product. Thanks.
The case you had put in the picture appears cool. Thanks for caring to mention the site. I shall look for some catchy cases for my sunglasses. I think it is essential to keep our sunglasses in a protective case.
