Silpat is an absolute must for any baker! I have been using it for over two years now and do not want to think about making any sort of dough without it. Silpat comes in a variety of sizes and is made out of silcone but oven safe! By looking at it you can see the fibers that are woven together that give it the sturdiness that other roll out silcone mats lack. I have baked pizzas and pretzels on silpat instead of using parchment paper. The moment I was convinced that Silpat is a wonderful product is when I was making pizza dough for the first time and it was sticking to everything except the Silpat. What a mess to clean and I actually tried to get most of the dough that was stubbornly sticking to my hands on Silpat because I knew it would be easier to clean it than my hands! I definitely recommend this product, enjoy!

I love using silpats for baking cookies! It is so wonderful to not have to scrape those cookies off the cookie sheet and to have them slide off easily!
