Simple Green Car Wash Concentrate By Morgan Vermeil on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Since environmental contaminants can affect my drinking water--especially since my household draws water from a well--I am always looking for eco-friendly versions of cleansers. Unfortunately, many either fail to clean effectively or cost an exorbitant amount of money.

Simple Green Car Wash, however, is both effective and affordable. I used the product on my 10-year-old Ford Escort, and it looked shiny and new after a good wash.

The product smells good, lathers nicely, and produces enough cleansing power to remove the grime, dirt, dust and bug stains from my vehicle. The finish was free of streaks. Even better, the product is biodegradable, so it contains no harsh environmental contaminants.

The lovely green color made the product attractive in appearance, and the instructions were easy to follow. Of course, the car wash is not completely chemical free, as the bottle includes warnings and precautions (such as "Avoid eye contact.") Nonetheless, I feel secure when I use this product, and am certain it is less environmentally damaging than similar commercial car wash solutions.
