Simple Rule By MickeyM on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Its been in the News, even on Oprah. Professor Randy Pausch diagnosed with terminal cancer gave a "Last Lecture" to his colleagues at Carneige Mellon UNiversity. The result a simple set of insights about life and more importantly living. As a result of that lecture the book version was released. Unlike most hype self help books Randy in simple short obsercations on his life and life experiences gives each and everyone of us some food for thought. The book is and easy 200 page read. It is written in short segments of reflections on life, its challenges and rewards. Even in relfection on his impending death the up beat feel and ispiration is contagious. You will find yourself rethinking what is important and why. In so doing you will find yourself truly motivated to make the most of each and every day and to really reflect on whats important. The lessons learned apply to work, family and all elements of life. I would heartily recommend the book as a must read and a real eye opener as to how to live and love life

I watched The Last Lecture in a psychology class. I'll have to find this book so I can read it... the man is a genius.
I've also seen the Last Lecture and am very interested in reading this book. If I could get through life with half his advice, it would be better than it is now!
What an inspirational man who lived his life to the fullest!
Sounds like an interesting read. We all need a little help reflecting on our lives & finding better ways to achieve the ideal life. We need to look more inward to find true happiness & our general purpose here on earth.
I saw this book in bookstore but I did not buy it. I will go to look for the book soon. Seems to be a good book to read.
We watched his Last Lecture too and it's so inspiring. The book has to be even better and what better way to stay motivated and focused than to carry it around with you for reference.
I watched this last lecture and was very inspired. Definitely helps you put things into perspective.
