Simple Weights For Simple Workouts By AmyBrantley on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I like for my arms to be free from flab, but not muscular. This led me to look for smaller weights that I could use to tone my arms. After shopping at a few places, I found that Walmart had 5 pound weights for less than $3 each. But, would these weights be right for my workout style?

The good thing about these weights is that they were cheap. They do work well with my workout, but I don't care for the fact that they are solid metal. I have found that I actually prefer weights that are rubber coated because they are easy to hold onto, even after a hard workout.

All and all, these weights are okay, but they aren't anything special. They do get the job done and that's what's really important.

If all you can about is toning your arms, at an affordable price, these weights are perfect. If you care about comfort and a non-slip grib, this brand probably isn't the best choice.

I have rubber coated weights that I like - that coating really makes a difference in wanting to use them and feeling like it's more of a chore. Yours are an excellent price though!

I have already toned arms and hate using weights to tone arms because It changed into more like men's then giving any feminine touch
