The Sims 2: University is the first expansion for the Sims 2 series. This expansion allows your sim to participate in the college experience. There are several new additions added to this game through the expansion. There are new clothes, new memories, items, jobs, interaction, wants and new fears. In addition, a whole new life stage has been added, the young adult. This life stage is only available while you sim is in college. They leave when they are a teen and comeback as an adult. While at college your sim has eleven majors to choose from. Each major allows your sim to get a head start on gaining skills points. This expansion also allows your sims to join sororities, fraternities, and secret societies.

I found that this expansion really extended the enjoyability in the game, although, I did find that the actual college part of it got boring after the first few times. I really enjoyed the addition of influencing others, because why make your sim do something when you can get someone else to do it. I also love the fact that it enables you to have an extra want and an extra fear. I genuinely feel that this game is a great addition to the sims series, and well worth buying.
