My hubby and I love to drink tea, but not always at the same time. We drink many different kinds of loose leaf tea so we use a tea (or coffee) press to make 2 or more big mugs of tea. It gets a little annoying to use a big press for just one cup, so when my hubby found this small teapot he just had to get it.

This pot is made of glass with a plastic handle, lid, and infusing press. The glass tends to get really hot while the tea is steeping, so be careful not to grab it to pour. The handle stays cool though, and is big enough to grab without touching the glass.

To use the teapot, you just put hot water in the glass part, loose tea in the infusing press, and place the press into the hot water. The lid is part of the infuser, so it stays covered and contained to keep the heat in while the tea stoops. The length of stooping time will depend on how strong you like your tea. I like a slightly stronger taste, so I leave it in for about 5 minutes.

This teapot can make two small cups of tea, or one big mug's worth.

Very nice...good to know it makes just the right amount for a single mug.
