I purchased this Sirius Satellite Radio Boombox for my Sportster radio receiver to be able to take it out of the home or vehicle. I receieved this boombox free after rebate with the purchase of my second sportster replay receiver so you cant argue with that. This boombox can either work off batteries or by plugging it in to an outlet. I have enjoyed listening to this boombox while fishing near the lake or river and also have taken this camping with me. have hooked up an extension cord running into a tent and let it play all night. The boombox has its own volume control and power button. I do not have the fancy new wireless receivers out there so this boombox works to satisfy my needs to be away from the house or power supply. I have not had any problems with any of my receivers or boombox, or home kits and car kits. Sirius makes quality products.

they have boomboxes compatible with receivers made by only sirius. Like this boombox fits both my sportster and sportster replay receivers but wont fit nothing else. There are other boomboxes to fit other models.
My husband has this same boombox and loves it too.
Sounds like a good boombox and free can't be beat!
Good product there since you have tried it on many occassions like fishing, camping and outings.
I didn't even know something like this existed! It sounds really convenient, and when I finally get a Sirius radio I'm definitely getting one of these.
