Reviewing: Hasbro Simon Says Sit N Spin
Purchased at: Post Exchange     Price: $24.99 USD

I bought this Sit n Spin ride on toy for my grandson as I recalled all the fun his dad, aunt, and uncles had using theirs when they were younger. This toy has been a total waste of money and has caused many moments full of frustration for my grandson. Not only is it obnoxiously loud, poorly constructed, but it does not work at all.

The sit n spin is supposed to be an interactive toy for you child to ride on. They are supposed to follow what Simon says or they can just spin to some great music tunes which they can find in the music mode. He tells them to spin at different speeds and in different directions. There is also a sounds off mode which allows for silent spinning.

Cooper enjoyed the music but we found it to be offensively loud. It was very hard for him to turn the center post in order to get the thing to spin. This center support is cheaply made and when they grab onto it, it bends towards them not allowing them to get the seat to spin. The shape of the seat causes yet another problem. It is not circular shaped like older versions of this toy, it is oval in shape. The child finds it very hard to actually get seated and if they are successful in doing that, they have a hard time balancing themselves as it is prone to tipping or tilting.

My grandson is very coordinated and strong for his age yet this toy is nearly impossible for him to use and enjoy. It has brought nothing but frustration to him. I would not recommend this toy to anyone as it is a bad design, is cheaply made, and has annoying music!

Is this a large toy? Did you ever when you were younger go to the park and they had a spinner it was metal and you sit on it and hold on and someone pushes it this brought back this memory I thought I would just share that.

What a shame...I remember the old sit and spins growing up...it's a shame they cheapened this great childhood toy.
