Sit-N-Stand Stroller
By tsmommy06 onWhen I was pregnant with my second baby, I knew I would want some type of double stroller for the two kids. I, however, didn't want a full-size double stroller or a side-by-side stroller. My first son was going to be 2.75 when my second son was born and he didn't really need a full seat. I finally narrowed it down to a single sit-n-stand stroller.
I bought the Baby Trend Sit-N-Stand stroller at BabiesRUs. Using two coupons I was able to purchase the $129.99 stroller for around $90.
The stroller was easy to assemble - even while I was 9 months pregnant. The directions were simple and included pictures. The stroller came with two options for the front seat. You could either attach an universal car seat adaptor or the child tray. Since I was going to be using it with a car seat, I chose the car seat adaptor. We were able to use our Graco car seat in this stroller. The front seat also includes a canopy.
The rear child seat includes a bench and a rear platform for standing. This is very convenient as the older child can choose to sit facing the parent or stand facing forward or backward. There are two handles for the child to hold as well as a seat belt.
The stroller also includes a parent tray with a cup holder and a small storage area. The stroller has a one-handed folding system. However, I found it pretty hard to do just one handed. The stroller is not very light-weight (30 lbs) and this makes it difficult to fold one-handed.
Another feature is a large storage basket. The basket is large but not that easy to get to. It is hard to put a full diaper bag in the storage area. The reason it is hard to get to is because the rear child bench does not fold up. If the rear bench folded, it would be much easier to use the basket.
The stroller is fairly easy to maneuver for a larger stroller. I've used it everywhere - at stores, the mall, the zoo. It can sometimes be hard to push but with a 35 lb toddler and a 25 lb infant that is easy to understand.
When my son was ready to move out of the infant seat, I was easily able to remove the car seat adaptor and install the child tray. The front seat does recline slightly but doesn't lie flat.
Overall, I really like to use this stroller when we are out and about. My only complaints are the hard to access storage basket and the fact that the front seat doesn't fully recline. I would highly recommend this stroller to the parent of an infant and toddler or pre-schooler.

I have one of these as well and was glad I bought it. It was really easy to handle and great for 2 kids.
