Skate 2 On The Ps3 By Baller on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I purchased Skate 2 for about sixty dollars after trying the demo. Personally I think that the game is great. The games story line does not really tie in with the first skate game. I like the game because it is more challenging then the tony hawk series I used to play. Instead of a button smashing trick game like tony hawk, it is uses more of the joy stick to pull off tricks. Me being a basketball player, i am not really into skateboarding, but for some odd reason i enjoy this game. The game is rated T for teen because of the mild violence in the game, such as the ability to hurt yourself. I would also recommend skate 2 other than skate 1 because it has a wide variety of tricks that one can do. Skate 2 also has more mini games. An enjoyable mini game of mine would have to be hall of meat. A player competes for a higher score by attempting to get hurt. Some cons I will point out are that the extra add ons that can be bought for this game are somewhat a ripoff. The fantasy factory that can be added for ten dollars is not worth the money unless you want to skate on a open warehouse. I would recommend this game to anyone who is interested in skateboarding, skateboarding games, or just for fun.

good review, i played it for a while but tony hawk games seemed much more appealing to me.
