Electronic Arts looked to surpass the Tony Hawk Video Game Franchise by producing their own line of video games. They came up with this game called Skate. Skate has a relatively simply story line. You create your own skater, and you can customize him/her in endless ways. Once you are done creating your skater, you try to make it big in the skateboarding industry. You compete in various challenges, competitions, and fun events to get your name out there. After you have completed some of the necessary challenges and tutorials, you get offered various product sponsorships.

The grahpics in this game are amazing! They are truly next-generation. The gameplay is terrific, and it has a wonderful replay value. The online and local multiplayer modes are good as well. In all honesty, I have nothing to complain about this game. Go buy it today and experience the endless hours of fun you will have while playing Skate.
