Skin so soft gradual body tanning moisturiser

I have never been one for self tanning, however I am very pale skinned and in the sun I tend to burn, peel then back to white again, I never go tan and I am sick looking like a ghost, so when I noticed this moisturiser in the Avon catalogue that promises to give a healthy glow after using three times, I thought I would give it a go! another bonus was that it was on offer for 2.50, original price would be 5.00.

Description

The 250ml plastic tube is cream in color with a peach flip lid, the information on the front of the tube states that this is an Ultimate body moisturiser with SPF 15, according to the Avon book this moisturiser will allow you to gradually tan your body, it is suitable for fair skin tones and after three days of using this product you should have a healthy looking glow.

Using the product

According to the instructions this lotion can be used on a daily basis and will protect from the sun, anyway apply like any normal body moisturiser and after three days you should notice a healthy glow from your skin, the cream inside the tube is an off white color and has a slight smell to it, although the smell fades shortly after applying the moisturiser. Once the moisturiser has been applied it doesn't take long before it has dried into the skin, when applying the cream, two walnut size amounts are required, so the tube should last sometime.This product carries the usual warings, wash hands after use and keep out of reach of children.

Result

The result was pretty quick, after two days of using I noticed a slight color on my usually pale white skin, so I have to say I was well impressed!! so on the third day I used the moisturiser again and the next day I had a glow, I compared my skin to hubby's skin and I was an orangey brown colour, so I hopped into the bath hoping that the bright color would fade! no the color stayed exactly the same, so I was orange. having said that after about two more days the color did fade to a nice brown color and I haven't used the moisturiser since.

Opinion

Well at first I was well pleased with this product, when I went orange I was slightly put off, however now that the color has faded somewhat, I actually think this moisturiser actually quite good!! The results are fast and after using my skin feels very soft! so all in all this moisturiser does what it says.
