Skip Bo - Skip Bo review
By adadsview onThis card game by Mattel says it is recommended for ages 7-12.I didn't even realize there was and upper age limit on it.I think it's a good game for adults as well as children.
Each player is dealt a pile of cards and gets a hand of 5 cards. The object of the game is to get rid of your pile of cards by laying down your cards in order from 1 to 12.You only have 1 card turned over on your pile. You can use the cards in your hand to play off of the pile card. Some of the cards are Skip Bo cards and they serve as wilds.
This is a good game to start to teach children the strategy of game play. You might be able to play another card out of your hand but then the next person will be able to play off of their pile.It is amazing how quickly my children picked up on this. They make it their goal to never play into my pile.
I think this is a really fun game that is good for two people or a large group.
