Skipping Christmas By groovyg on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

The novel Skipping Christmas by John Grisham is a very good book. It is not the kind of book that you would expect John Grisham to write. Most people are accustomed to his mystery and more more serious subject matter. This is a light -hearted story about a man and his wife who decide the had rather take a curise and relax rather than go through all the streeses of the holidays . It is funny the way the people of their neighborhoold find it uterly appalling that they are not going to celebrate and decorate their homes like the rest of the neighborhood. These people are usually the best pary throwers in the neighborhood and others have come to denpend on that. Amusing story of the lenghts they go to , to try to pull it off. I really enjoyed this book, makes me smile and I will read it again and again at Christmastime.
