This book written by John Grisham is a very good read. This is about the Krank family deciding to skip Christmas since their daughter wouldn't be home with them to celebrate. They decide to take a Caribbean cruise instead and skip any and everything to do with the holiday. Skipping Christmas isn't half as easy as they'd imagined and there big idea comes to a halt when their daughter unexpectedly calls and tells them she's coming home. This book is hilarious as the characters face the chaos that has become a part of our holiday tradition. The book is alot better than the movie that came out in 2004, Christmas with the Kranks. In the book, you get a much better picture of how the neighborhood comes together to help the Kranks pull off a great Christmas.
