Reviewing: Paricon Flexible Flyer Sled 48"
Purchased at: E Toys     Price: $49.99 USD

No one who lives in Ohio and has faced the dreaded winters we have had could ever forget sled riding.Next to building snowmen, it is a great pass time for kids and their families when there is snow on the ground.

My children always loved to go sled riding. They would pray for a snow day just so they could go sled riding.Even grown people enjoy sled riding. You can visit our local park in the winter and see tons of people on their sleds.Whole families go out and slide down hills on sleds.

With the winter we had this past year, there was nothing else to do but to pull out the Flexible Flyer and go sled riding.

It is made of birch wood and steel. It is durable and made with easy to pull steering cords. These sleds will last a long time.It is 48 inches long and is safe for all members of the family.

They aren't real expensive, and it provides tons of fun for the whole family.Instead, of letting those kids drive you crazy on those snow days home from school, try sled riding. It is a fun time for everyone.

I recommend the Flexible Flyer as a great source of fun in snow.

Note: If you have really small children you will need a much smaller sled called a Toddler Sled. These have pull cords so you can pull the child along in the snow. These are available just about anywhere.

We don't get as much snow as some of the northern states, but get enough to go sledding. When I was growing up, I had so much fun sledding with my brothers and sisters at a park across the street from my home. We would walk to the top of the hill, then slide down the hill on our sled. Great memories!

Oh, an old fashioned sled. I remember these:0) My son wouldn't know one if he tripped over it. We just use trash can lids, boxes and tupperware containers on the rare occasion it snows here.

This is a good looking sled! I just loath the blow up tubes, flying saucers and other plastic unsteerable "sleds."

Becky - thanks for the memories! I grew up the flexible flier. My dad would take me sledding all the time. Great sled! Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

I wish we got enough snow here to actually go sledding. The kids try when we do get a dusting by using things like cardboard but I sure would love to have a sled and the snow to use it.

I live in Ohio and sledding is a favorite activity for us in the winter. I think this sled sounds great. I like the update...good idea to have a different one for the little ones.

This looks like a nice sturdy sled. Looks like one product has not changed over the years. :) I remember these.

I like some of the plastic sleds for safety, but at least you could steer the runner sleds. Spent many an hour on my belly on one as a kid!

I grew up sledding in Ohio when visiting my grandparents. I wish I had a sled that cool!
