Sleep Number Bed By Joni Lambert on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My husband and I were having a terrible time getting a decent nights sleep. Our mattress was a ten year old Themperpedic, which I always found too hard. We decided to look into getting a sleep number bed.

The store in the mall that we went to had all the different models of the bed available for us to lay on and check out. I found that the most expensive model is really the same thing as the next model down, only with a memory foam pad. I got the 5000 instead of the 9000 and added a memory foam pad and saved $400.

It is wonderful that my husband and I can adjust our own sides of the bed to whatever softness or hardness we'd like. Sleep numbers fron from 1 (softest) to 100 (firmest). My sleep number is 65. This is soft enough but firm enough that I wake with much less aches and pains than I used to.

Select Comfort has a payment plan that makes the beds very affordable. I think it's worth every penny.
