Sleeping Baby Ring Slings By amberloveseric on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I have used many different types of baby carriers, and even different brands of ring slings. But the one I have from Sleeping Baby Productions is by far my favorite. I have the linen. It breaths well in the heat, yet is thick enough for the winter. It is sturdy, yet pliable. The thing I love the most about the Sleeping Baby design, is the pleated shoulder. This allowes the weight of the carried baby to be distributed more evenly across your shoulder and back, making it much more comfortable to wear. My youngest daughter has been worn in it since she was a newborn, and I can even still wear my 4 year old daughter in it as well. Babies and children can be worn in the cradle position, facing out with legs in, facing in with legs in, facing in with legs out, hip carry, back carry, and pretty much any other position you can think of. Also, the tail can provide extra coverage for a nursing mom as well.

I have always wondered about ring slings but thought that they were way out of my price range. I had no idea they were so affordable.
This sounds like a well made product. It must come in very handy.
I've always been intimidated by slings. My daughter is 17 months. I'd love to try one to use on the hip when we're out and about. Maybe I'll give it a try.
Thank you for posting a picture. It is always nice to see the product
Sounds great. I wish I would have had one when my kids were babies! Thanks
Wow! This design of baby carrier sounds extremely versatile! It sounds like a product that can be used for quite some time. Thank you for your descriptive writing and inclusion of a photograph - which I always find helpful.
OK now this one sounds like the one to get! If it can hold a newborn and a 4 year old with ease and comfort this would be a perfect baby shower gift, thank you! And btw I enjoyed the picture too ;)
This sounds so versatile if you can use it for a baby and a small toddler. I also like the sound of the padded shoulder.
I never tried these when my kids were little because they looked like they would be really hot. It's noce to know this one breathes so you don't swelter in the heat.
I was talking to a friend who just had a baby the other day and she got one of these and LOVES it. I was always afraid that it would come undone or something...yes I am a worrier:0) Glad it works for you. And how awesome that it even still works for your 4 year old!
