The Planet Sleeps is a beautiful CD for babies and children of soft, lovely music from all over the world.

I was given this CD as a gift when my daughter was born and it's been one of our very favorites since then. It's a lullaby CD really, but it's special and unique because of the variety of cultures that are represented in the music. It features music that is Gaelic, African, Haitian, Japanese, Indian, French and from many other cultures and countries. I feel like I'm doing something good for my daughter by exposing her to this kind of music.

There are 16 tracks, all from a different place. Some are instrumental and some are sung. All are soothing and sweet.

My daughter loves this CD, and I do too. It makes me feel calm and peaceful, thinking about parents' love for their children in places all over the globe. It reminds me of how much we all have in common.

This makes an excellent baby gift.
