Sliding-Door Lock with Alarm

Do Not Buy..... This sliding door lock doesn't fit all sliding doors, even though it is recommended by Parents Magazine and Child Safety.It was suppose to provide child resistant security for the glass sliding doors. You are suppose to be able to open from the outside using the knob on your door.Inside you can manually secure the door, preventing the door from being opened from the outside. A built in alarm can be activated to sound whenever the door is opened.

I'm not recommending thisdoor lock because i couldn't get by the installation. After trying to install and finding it didn't fit my door, i now have to fiqure how to reset the lock on the door.I need to get the adhesive off too. I guess if you have the right kind of sliding door maybe it would work.Also those cell batteries are expensive to replace.

I wanted to lock in securitybut instead lost my patience!What should i have expected for $2.00.
