Aside from the city's cleanliness, Marikina City is known as the home of the world's largest shoe. It's been selling quality shoes here and abroad. On a family day out in one of the malls in the city, I saw this set of Polaris slippers for my 5 year old boy. He's kind of annoyed with plastic slippers he had so I decided to buy slippers made from different material. In one of the stalls inside the mall, this Marikina made slippers caught my attention. I liked it the first time I saw it. It cannot only serves as slippers but a footwear for my boy on some casual day out. It is made from leather material and the stitches look great. I know from that style that it will not wear out easily. Also, the design is multi-functional that he can wear it at home, in a mall, or any non-formal location. Even when it gets wet the color does not tarnish and my boy feels comfortable wearing it. He does not get hurt with the strap and he likes the style and design of it.

As compared to plastic slippers this kind is safer, more durable, multi-functional and very stylish.
