Small Compact Dvd Player By MaryLynn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

If you are looking for a small inexpensive compact DVD player check out the Lenoxx Regent DVD Player. Like most parents, I don't see the need to spend a lot of money on electronics for your child's room and this DVD is perfect for a child's room. It is in multi-colors, which will add to your child's appeal for it, and I found it at Wal-Mart for only $19.99. It plays DVDs, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3s, Picture Cds, and audio Cds. It comes with the necessary cable cords to connect to a T.V. and an easy to use remote. The remote comes with 2 "AAA" batteries. The one down side that I have found about the remote is that it is so small it is easy to lose, my daughter has a spot on her nightstand that she keeps hers at all times. The DVD player does have basic functions on the actual unit just in case you lose the remote. For better sound there is a built in digital decoder that helps with any sound distortion. I have had some DVD players that had awful sound. It has an easy onscreen menu and there is no setup required other than using the cable to hook it up. This DVD player gets a thumbs up from me.
