Smashbox O-Glow: One Shade Fits All
By Laurel1 onSmashbox, a line of cosmetics started by make-up artists for models, created a product intended to bring a natural blush color to every woman.O-Glow is a clear gel supposed to interact with a woman's biochemistry to produce the color of her natural blush.Smashbox calls it a "microcirculating cheek color with Goji Berry-C complex," which means it has a natural-sourced anti-oxidant ingredient that works to bring out color.
This product is a little difficult to use. Most people have a tendency to use too much, which I did the first time I used it. That resulted, for me, in a bright fuschia color across my face. Not exactly the result I was hoping for.The next time, after a tip from my sister, I used a tiny little dab, and it was perfect. A nice pink almost where I wanted it.I let my friend's teenage daughter, a young African-American woman, try it, and it gave her a glow that also looked perfect for her skin tone. We were both amazed.
I'd have given it a higher rating, except that the price of $26 seems high for a 0.5 ounce tube.Almay's Smart Shade can do pretty much the same thing for a lot less.
