Smashbox Skin Tint: Bring on the Heat!
By Laurel1 onSmashbox Cosmetics, created by the Max Factor heirs, are model-worthy cosmetics for the rest of us.The Skin Tint is no disappointment.A generous 0.25 oz of color fills that trademark black tube, and it goes on sleekly and stays on for hours.
I own Skin Tint in both Smashing Heat and Smashing Ultraviolet. It also comes in Smashing Infrared and Smashing Tint.Smashbox describes Heat as "watermelon," Infrared as "sheer fresh rose," Ultraviolet as "sheer berry," and Tint as "sheer peachy pink."If you look at Ultraviolet and Infrared, they look almost frighteningly bright, fluorescent colors. But they go on sheer and are easy to blend.I would recommend trying them at a Smashbox cosmetics counter before buying; I would have gotten Tint if I hadn't tried it and found it to have hardly any color at all. While heat looks fairly bright and coral, it goes on my face to give it a natural blush shade.Ultraviolet looks bright purple in the tube, but does go on a berry color, givin my skin a deeper blush for evenings out.Because it is so sheer, you can start light, then layer to get the depth of color you want.
I don't like paying $28 for blush or cheek color (I admit it; I'm cheap!) but this is worth it. It lasts for months in the tube, and all day on your face. You can't ask for much more.

I am always looking for new cosmetics to try, thank you!
