Smells Like Home Sweet Home

Yankee Candle has wonderfully fragrant concentrated room sprays that match the scents of their candles. One of my favorites, anytime of year, is Home Sweet Home. It has a pleasing cinnamon-spice scent that is not at all over powering, as some room sprays are. It is advertised as being a special blend of cinnamon, baking spices, and tea fragrances. It also has a special odor eliminator.

Though the promotional ads say that the scent lasts for hours, I have to admit that I have not found that to be true. Like most room sprays, it dissipates rather quickly, so I tend to use it for areas that need immediate freshening, such as the kitchen, entry way, or bath. Sometimes when it rains for a couple of days, our house tends to get a bit of a mildew smell, and it is very effective for that also.

There are many other scents available, both online and in retail and gift stores. Many malls or shopping areas have their own Yankee Candle gift store. While these sprays may be a bit pricey to use daily, they are very pleasant when you want to add a special fragrance to your home. They also make excellent gifts, particularly at Christmas time, in gift baskets.
