Smells Really Good IF I Stick My Nose In It!

I received the Tahitian Waters Reed Diffuser Kit as a Christmas Gift.

It came nicely boxed. The nearly 8 ounce bottle of Tahitian Waters came corked and sealed with wax for a really nice presentation. The wooden cap with metal ring and reeds were separate in the box.

I popped the cork with a bottle opener and it smelled really nice kind of a fresh clean scent, like rain, with a touch of a spicy floral note.

Assembly was simple. After popping the cork, just sit the wooden cap on top of the bottle (it just sits there, it isnt fitted) and put the reeds in. The next day turn the reeds over just to make sure that they soak up all of the scent and diffuse it into the room.

Although everything seems to be working fine, the lovely scent is just too light to scent the room. Even when I have the bottle sitting less than 3 feet away I cannot smell it, and I have a pretty good sense of smell! I actually have to bring the bottle right up to my nose to smell it.

All is not lost, however, as the Tahitian Waters bottle does look pretty nice just sitting around.
