There is nothing special as far as the story goes in this book. It is a story about Elmo taking pictures of his friends. The neat thing about the book is it has a camera in the front. The camera has four buttons with pictures of Elmo's friends on them, a click button that sets off a flash and a zoom lense that turns and clicks. As you read the story there are pictures that go along with the ones on the camera. When you click them the characters talk. There is also a spot in the last page of the book to put a picture of your child and it says Elmo took a picture of them. My kids loved this part of the book. They thought it was so neat to be a part of the story. We used double sided tape to change the picture when the book got passed down to the next sibling. We have had the book for 5 years and haven't had to change the batteries yet. If your kids like Elmo then they will love this book.
