Smokehouse Beef Munchies Natural Chews

I purchased these Smokehouse Beef Munchies Natural Chews at Pet Works. They sell dogs and a variety of animal products. The ingredients were listed as beef lungs. I wanted something for my youngest dog who loves to chew and these seemed like they would be a good treat for him. They were available for $4.49 (excluding tax) and the bag was 4 oz. On the packaging it said that it was real flavors of beef that are roasted slowly to perfection. These treats do not contain any additives or preservatives.

I brought the bag home and gave one to my youngest dog. Each treat was rather large so I had to break one in half to give it to him. He is a small breed. He began to chew on it right away and finished the half in about 5 minutes or so. He seemed to like it, at least that is what I thought. Later on, I gave him another treat and he carried it around. He then stopped and chewed on it for a minute or so and then left it alone. I now have a few left out for him and he will carry one around every now and then but won't eat it anymore. I have no idea why he has decided that he doesn't like them. I can't recommend this product.
