Smoothest Writing Pen By Linda Amstutz on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I write a lot. And when I'm not writing, I'm doodling. So I know a lot about pens. Sure, they all start out nice enough. Smooth. Easy to hold. But after a few uses, globs of ink start to form. Then the globs smear across the paper, and next thing I know, my hand is covered in black (or blue) stains.

Not with the Pilot G-2 pen. This is the best pen I have used in years. I can't get enough of them. My first one was black. Then I tried blue. Then green. And purple. And red. And assorted colors.

The Pilot G-2 feels great in my hand. It has a rubber gripper, protecting my knuckes. It has a nice click to it, if you're the kind of person who likes to click their pens open and closed and open and closed. (I'm that kind of person.) But the real joy comes when you put this pen down to paper. It glides. It's so smooth that you can't write enough.

And when it eventually runs out of ink, it just runs out. No globbing. No staining. It just quits writing. But that doesn't happen until after you've had many, many hours of graceful writing.
